Central to the philosophy of Somersfield Academy is the belief that the educational experience at the school is about the focus on the whole child and their overall development.In addition to the learning opportunities offered through the classroom based curriculum, there are a host of other opportunities available, which, we believe, add up to an enhanced all round experience at the school.These take many forms. They maybe our wide range of club offerings by teachers after school, our activities available from external coaches or leaders, our enrichment programmes, our vast range of sporting opportunities, leadership roles, and school trips at home and abroad.We try, each year, to present the widest possible range of activities and we pride ourselves in the fact that our students take full advantage of the opportunities available to them.
